Over the course of three ridiculously chaotic days, Charlie will learn more than she ever expected about the family she thought she knew by heart. And she’ll realize that sometimes, trying to keep everything like it was in the past means missing out on the future.

Schimbăm registrul și ne delectăm cu puțin umor și o notă de melancolie. ”Save the date” de Morgan Matson este o carte pe care o savurezi pagină cu pagină și nu te plictisește niciun moment.

Cu o acțiune jucăușă, relatată de Charlie, povestea prezintă viața și haosul unei familii numeroase. Familia Grant este invidiată de mulți și faimoasă într-un mod neobișnuit, dar nelipsită de secrete în pofida imaginii fără perdea pe care o prezintă lumii sub forma unor personaje de benzi desenate. O nuntă este prilej de bucurie, dar cea a surorii lui Charlie se transformă într-una plină de peripeții, scene pline de umor, care încântă prin posibilitatea reală a unora și imposibilă a altora. Povestea inspiră imaginea unui film și nu ar arăta rău pe ecran, chiar dacă am mai întâlnit povești asemănătoare.

”Save the date” este cartea săptămânii pentru mine, simpatică și antrenantă, care m-a lăsat cu un zâmbet și o stare plăcută.
